“Norman Parkinson, Fashion Photography 1948-1968”.”
The retrospective traces twenty years of fashion photography through the eyes of Norman Parkinson and four other internationally recognised photographers. In seventy works, the exhibition recounts not only the spirit of change of that period (1948-1968), but a new way of photographing and representing women, in fashion shoots and portraits. For the first time, models are portrayed outside the studio, outdoors, in everyday life contexts such as streets, beaches or exotic destinations.
