Mosaic decorations

product design project

2001 - ongoing
Bisazza

From the encounter with objects from everyday life or from the simple observation of details, mosaic decorations are born, which go beyond the concept of a simple wall covering, becoming true furnishing elements. Everything is reinterpreted through the pixel of the mosaic tile: combinations taken from the world of fashion, precious fabrics, furnishing fabrics, antique porcelain or the French decoration of the 1940s.

For the first time, the modular mosaic décor was created, conceived as a wallpaper, drawing inspiration mainly from floral themes and timeless iconic shapes.
The reinterpretation of large flowers and precious fabrics also inspired the Winter Flowers and Pied de Poule décors, which won awards at the Elle Deco International Awards in 2004 and 2006.

More than 20 years of collaboration with the company has produced much of the decor catalogue, here is a selection.
