Carlo Dal Bianco Studio, based in Vicenza, deals with architectural and interior design for private residences, offices, shops, restaurants and hotels, operating in Italy and abroad. The activity includes new constructions, building renovations and restoration of listed historical buildings and sacred buildings. In addition to design, the Studio also deals with real estate investments, mainly in Italy, following interventions on residential buildings, offices and commercial spaces, taking care of both their interiors and exteriors. The Studio stands out for its attention to every detail and for the search for original and customised design solutions, developed starting from the client's needs. The spaces designed respond to a dual need: aesthetic quality and functionality. Pleasant, stimulating and harmonious environments, but at the same time practical and efficient.

Carlo Dal Bianco graduated in architecture from the IUAV in Venice and founded the Studio in 1993. In the first ten years, he devoted himself to the monumental restoration of historic palazzi, churches and industrial archaeology. His interest in ancient architecture, combined with his passion for collecting 19th and 20th century Veneto paintings, contributed to the definition of a personal stylistic language.
In 2001, he began working with Bisazza, designing the company headquarters in Alte di Montecchio Maggiore and the exhibition spaces of the Bisazza Foundation. He contributed to the construction of the corporate image and the development of the decorative language of contemporary mosaic, reinterpreting the tradition of fabric and wallpaper in a new form of modular glass mosaic wallpaper. He designed numerous collections and hundreds of decors, which earned him the prestigious Elle Decoration International Design Award in 2004 and 2006. He also designs eighteen flagship stores in major cities around the world for the brand.

Our design approach starts with a rigorous, minimalist and geometric layout, which is then supplemented with objects, colours and finishes from the world of art, decoration and fashion. The harmony between classical proportions and contemporary language is the guiding thread of our work. Over the years we have developed collaborations with design companies including Fürstenberg, Rapsel, Londonart, Ritzenhoff, Matteo Pala and Campeggi.
The Studio maintains a constant focus on the quality of space, understood as an environment to be lived in. The project is developed through the study of light, colours, materials and furnishings, with particular attention to customised design. Our work space in Vicenza reflects this approach: a welcoming place and at the same time an archive of antique and modern objects and illustrated books, which form an ongoing basis for our research.
