Bisazza Foundation - Montecchio Maggiore

renovation and exhibition design

2001 - ongoing
Montecchio Maggiore, Vicenza
Bisazza

A sequence of industrial buildings, the result of slow building sedimentation, contrasts with the uniqueness of the company's new entrance, a scenographic and three-dimensional image of the Bisazza brand. The mosaic-covered entrance, depicted as a monumental pergola of roses on a black background, presents itself as an emotional journey between exterior and interior. Everything is symmetrical and responsive, rigour is the absolute protagonist in a harmonious context that links the space of the entrance with the internal paths, public and private.

The articulated spaces of the company's headquarters are the subject of continuous renovation work with the intention of ordering and restructuring the series of existing industrial buildings, integrating them with newly built elements. The project to transform the spaces has thus adapted over time to very different situations and needs, tackling complex and diverse exhibition problems with a common code and language. The company headquarters has thus slowly been transformed into a building complex that houses both the Foundation's operational offices and exhibition spaces, sharing the entrance and reception area, at the sides of which are the two perpendicular paths leading to the work areas and the exhibition area of over six thousand square metres.
