The project was born from the union between the fragility of the mirror and the strength of steel. Figures that speak of the image and their duplicity. Double is their appearance, as purely decorative objects and as mirrors with the practical function of reflection. The project investigates the theme of reflection as image and shadow of ourselves. Everything has a dual nature, as Eastern philosophy considers a single essence formed by Yang and Yin; we are simultaneously male and female, light and darkness, earth and sky. The objects are created from sheets of steel, a symbol of hardness and inalterability, treated like a fragile glass mirror, partly by softly cutting out the profile. The figures are inspired by the theme of the garden and the fragment.
